The Acres Homes Community Development Corporation (AHCDCorp) is a non-profit organization created to function and serve as the facilitator of residential and commercial real estate development in the Acres Homes community.

The AHCDCorp was formed by community residents, business owners, educators, and ministers, whose mission is to work with other community organizations to revitalize the Acres Homes Community.

We have found that there is a need and desire for affordable, quality new homes in the community, and we have taken on the challenge of addressing this need. Our goal is to improve the Acres Homes community by developing affordable housing, and by making it a safer place to live.

We are proud to have helped so many families achieve their dreams of home ownership, and we look forward to providing the community with even more affordable homes in the future.

We are identifying and pursuing projects that focus on the areas of housing development, beautification, and economic revitalization.

AHCDCorp aims to provide our clients with all the services necessary to increase opportunities for home ownership in the Acres Homes community and the Greater Houston Area. Our educational program focuses on home ownership and foreclosure prevention, and benefits all Houstonians that are eager to learn and want to purchase a home.

The project we are currently working on is the Dyerwood Project; we have already built eight homes on Dyer Street, and have additional land to continue building on Dyer. We hold our educational Foreclosure Seminars and Home Buyer Seminars once a month at the Acres Homes Multi Service Center.

Acres Homes Community Development Corporation is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization supported by corporations, individuals, and foundations.
